Return Policy at Sunshine and Ski
We want you to love your purchase at Sunshine and Ski! Below are the details of our return and exchange policy:
In-Store Returns:
We offer exchanges or store credit for in-store purchases, with the exception of running shoes. All items must be in new condition with tags attached. Please ensure your items are returned within a week of purchase, and don’t forget to bring your receipt!
Online Orders:
For online purchases, returns and refunds are accepted within one month of the purchase date, as long as product is like new and still has the tags on! Customers are responsible for the return shipping costs. Refunds will be processed once the returned product is received at our store. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your return, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We're happy to assist you!
Running Shoes:
Running shoes may be returned for a refund, provided they have not been worn outside and are returned within 7 days of purchase. Please ensure the shoes are in original condition.
Final Sale:
All sale items are final and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Job Summary
The Sales Associate is responsible for greeting customers, answering questions, making suggestions and providing/researching product information to ensure the customer gets exactly what they are looking for.
Product knowledge is an important part of the job in order to communicate options and information to customers. Training sessions with management & industry professionals are ongoing & mandatory. As well, the Sales Associate will have the opportunity to draw on the experience & expertise of long-serving store sales staff.

Individual responsibilities as a Sales Associate include:
- Maintain visual merchandising
- Organize the stock inventory areas
- Store opening and closing procedures
- Maintain housekeeping and general store cleanliness
- Receiving and unloading products in an efficient and timely manner (often heavy items including skis, patio furniture, etc)
- Implement the store manager’s operation goals for the store

Candidate Requirements
- The successful candidate will be someone who maintains a professional attitude with sincerity and enthusiasm reflecting the store's commitment to our customers.
- Demonstrates outstanding customer service and selling skills
- The individual must have critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a business setting, with an ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
- Sales-driven and goal-oriented attitude
- Excellent communication skills (English - written, verbal, interpersonal)
- Retail sales experience preferred
- Ski and/or snowboard experience is preferred
- Basic math & computer skills and the experience using a point-of-sale system is preferred
- Flexibility to work varying shifts (daytime, evenings, weekends, holidays, as shifts will vary)
- Ability to unload trucks, carry display racks, walk up and down stairs and step ladders
- Bondable
- Valid driver’s license
- Criminal Record Check
- Provide a cover letter detailing how the candidate’s experiences ensure they are suitable for the position
