Well Saskatchewan, it’s that time of year again – temperatures are dropping, snow is on the horizon, and we’re stoked to announce that our team of experts have brought in some seriously exciting new snowboards this year. We asked them about the snowboards they are most excited about for 2025, and they narrowed it down to this list of heavy-hitters. Don't see your favourite on the list? Don't fret, we carry Saskatchewan's largest selection of snowboards, so chances are we have it coming, and if you feel like we missed something, let us know in the comments, send us an email, or give us a phone call!
GNU Money
The Money from GNU is an excellent choice for the terrain park. One of our favourite things about GNU snowboards is their incredible hybrid camber profiles. The Money features the C2e hybrid camber which gives you a reverse camber between the feet (think U-shaped) and camber from your feet to tip and tail. This mellow hybrid ensures that your turns are loose and effortless while still giving you all of the stability at high speeds and pop that you would expect from a full camber board. Pairing this with Magne-Traction, which creates a serrated knife-blade out of your snowboard edge to grip ice like its powder, creates a budget-friendly snowboard that will give you the confidence to build speed to hit that jump you always wanted to hit, or euro-carve your way glory. Salomon Dancehaul Pro
We’ve been in love with the Salomon Dancehaul Pro for years and so, apparently, have you Saskatchewan. These snowboards fly out the door basically as soon as they arrive for a good reason: they are the perfect board for the Saskatchewan snowboarder. The Dancehaul Pro excels in a huge variety of terrains, which means you won’t need three different boards on you at all times in-case you end up carving groomers instead of powder on your annual trip to the mountains. And in between mountain trips, you can spend your weekends with our friends at Mission Ridge tearing up every inch of their top-notch resort.
This board is agile like nothing you have ever seen, and for those of you really looking to push the Dancehaul Pro to its limit, taking this board in and out of the trees is a dream.
K2 Passport
The 2025 K2 Passport might be our top directional board of the year. With an extra long rocker in the nose and set-back camber under your feet, staying afloat in fresh powder is basically effortless. No more reefing on that front leg to keep yourself from sinking, just sit back and enjoy the ride – the Passport will take care of the rest. It works by placing you, the rider, towards the back of the board so that your back foot sinks, causing your right foot to naturally kick up without much effort on your part. On top of that, the extra long scoop in the nose makes sure all that fresh snow travels under your board to keep you on the surface. This is definitely a big-mountain board designed for more experienced riders. It’s stiff and poppy so the riders who know how to work it will love the responsiveness they can get out of it, but beginners may find it a bit harder to maneuver if they haven’t developed their fundamentals yet.
