Lightweight and low-profile, the Descend is built for riders who'd rather focus on the mountain than fuss with their gear. It combines Mips® and Zonal KOROYD® coverage for serious energy absorption in a crash, without adding bulk.
Protection
The in-mold construction fuses the shell and EPS foam into a single lightweight, durable piece, and Zonal KOROYD® adds ventilated, energy-absorbing coverage right where you need it. Paired with the Mips® safety system, it's certified to ASTM F2040, CE EN 1077:2007 Class B, CPSC, and CE EN1078 standards.
Airflow & Fog Control
16 vents keep things breathable in any conditions, and the one-handed Regulator climate control makes it easy to adjust on the go. Paired with Smith goggles, the AirEvac™ system channels air across your lens to keep it fog-free from first chair to last run.
Fit
The adjustable dial fit system lets you fine-tune size and feel with one hand, no stopping required, and the design is built for a seamless match with Smith goggles for maximum comfort.
